Horizontal storage space is always in short supply wherever we live, work, or play. This little gizmo is great for eking out more space in an apartment, efficiency, condo, cottage, house, shop, garage, office or barn. The bracket is hung securely from atop a 1"- 2" thick door (on the swing-out side) or screw-mounted to a wall from two points to form a firm structure. With the shelf folded up, it takes up only the space of the bracket. But fold it down and you have a square foot-and-a-half of horizontal space.
